Why is it so hard for some of us to slow down?

It's true what they say about not listening to the little signs to slow down, we will be made to slow down 😅.

I've been at full speed most of the time, even after having Noah last year, my maternity leave was spent training and building the start of my business.

This past week or so has definitely made me slow down and ive found it very difficult to just be.

To sit and now worry what has or hasn't been done.

To not pick up my 📱 or 💻 to do work stuff.

My brain is always going from the moment i wake up, to going to sleep at night😴.

I am thankfully not as sore today but i am going to take the rest of the week off and not rush it.

✨Back to work on Sunday though and i cannot wait to see you all 🥰✨

As a mum of a medically complex child its hard to predict when he will have bad spells and how long they last.

Which is going to have an impact on my working hours (another reason for being self employed, I can work around that).

I have then done myself an injury which is preventing me doing my job, or much else for that matter 🤦🏻‍♀️.

The universe is definitely making me slow down😅.

She was very professional, and when discussing any issues listed on my client information form, she was very knowledgeable on different things that could help. I was nervous as suffer from high anxiety at the moment, and within minutes Ruth made me feel comfortable.

Her room was very welcoming as was Ruth herself. Talking me through my likes and dislikes and my comfort levels. She made me feel very comfortable.

The massage itself was magic and eased muscles and aches I didn’t realise were strained and sore. I found myself very relaxed and able to drift off to sleep for the first time in a long time.

I have already booked in again for another session with Ruth. Looking forward to seeing how her skills, confidence and experience grows along with her therapeutic offerings. Thank you
